The extra legs a robotic has the higher it appears to be at travelling over tough terrain.

Baxi Chong on the Georgia Institute of Know-how and his colleagues constructed a spread of multi-legged robots from 3D-printed physique segments. Every section had two legs and a number of other motors. The robots had between six and 16 legs in complete.
